Being here in China for a month is different from being away from home traveling in Thailand for a month. I’m restricted to a lot of things because I have this responsibility – work.
While I miss the food and friends back home but I am glad I’m out here cos there’s just so much to explore and understand, and this (China) is just a small part of the big big world.
A friend recently shared about his complaint during his holiday in Bangkok on Facebook and that reminded me of my experience of an arrogant traveler I met while I was in Koh Lanta. (Note: not saying my friend is arrogant)
We learn languages so that we can communicate with people of different backgrounds and cultures. But have we forgotten the point that not everyone has the privilege like us to go through proper classes?
